Garden Center Activity
By taking advantage of the many community gardens within the greater Cleveland area, individuals from ages 6 to 21 will come together and plant fruits and vegetables for the purpose of distributing to the community after the harvest. They will also be able to take some produce for themselves. Including some of the pumpkins they grew, just in time to be carved up for Halloween. This activity affords them the opportunity to be a part of giving to the community. It also allows them the experience of having a hands-on approach to working hard and seeing the benefits of their labor.
